About the role
Our board have over 30 years’ experience founding, scaling and exiting talent solutions businesses in the UK, US and APAC.
We are looking for a Consultant to join our London-based NYC-focused Rec2Rec team. Our team are responsible for advising recruitment companies on international growth through recruitment and the acquisition of specialist recruitment teams.
The USA recruitment market is the fastest growing and most lucrative in the world, and we are market leaders in consulting with clients in this industry.
Once settled in, the key responsibilities of the role are:
Digital Research (From month 1)
– Develop an in-depth understanding of the USA recruitment market. You will be reaching out to senior level people via LinkedIn and making introductions where appropriate to the Executive Search team.
Headhunting (From month 3)
– Over time you will learn how to headhunt. Headhunting is an art and once mastered, it is a very powerful skill. The transition from building relationships on LinkedIn to building relationships in-person is a key milestone in this role. After sourcing 3 candidates for active roles, you will be eligible for promotion to Consultant.
Account Management (From month 6)
– You will start to work directly with clients to help execute their talent strategy. Those people you have headhunted over the last 6 months will be relevant for new roles at our existing and new clients. You’ll build relationships with existing clients and help to manage interview processes and earn bonuses for every placement.
Client Development (From month 9)
- Based on strong performance you have the opportunity to be promoted after 9 months to Senior Consultant. You will naturally develop your own client relationships, win projects and manage them end-to-end, earning commission on every completed project.
There are number of different ways to progress within the organization. You will eventually be able to manage teams, work more closely with the investment team or even start your own aligned business unit.

Salary and Benefits
£25,000 base salary (to increase to £27,500 upon promotion)
Bonus and then commission based on performance (100%+ of base salary in year 2)
