Job Title: Managing Director of Financial Technology Search

 

Company Overview:

We are currently partnered with a stalwart In the Financial Services Search & Staffing industry with over 20 years of experience serving a loyal client base. They have excelled within this sector and are now looking to launch a Financial Technology practice.

Position Overview:

The Managing Director of Financial Services Practice will be an account management focused role, the name of the game will be introducing the new Technology Search offering and expanding it within their existing client base and connecting them with top talent.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction and growth initiatives of our technology recruitment practice, leveraging market insights and industry trends to drive business success.

  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technology talent needs and delivering customized recruitment solutions that exceed expectations.

  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for Financial Technology professionals, from candidate sourcing and assessment to offer negotiation and placement.

  • Team Management: Whilst you’ll be the first in the door for this practice, we don’t anticipate this lasting for long so you will need to build and mentor a high-performing team of technology recruiters, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Proven track record of success in financial technology recruitment or executive search, with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

  • Deep understanding of technology roles, trends, and talent dynamics, with a robust network.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset
