We are working with a leading, boutique executive search firm, offering bespoke retained and contingent recruitment services to the top, multi-billion dollar entities globally. With over 25 years of placing C-suite and Board, Corporate Development, Front and Back office roles to name just a few, the firm has legacy relationships with some of the biggest names within the financial services, professional services and PE-portfolio space, and offers additional services including consulting, corporate expansion and M&A.

This is a highly unique position to run the business as the sole Managing Partner / President of the firm, as the Founder is looking to transition into an adjacent business line that will be able to support the firm with cutting-edge advanced technology.


  • Driving revenue through both winning and executing on searches within Financial Services, Professional Services or Private Equity / PE-portfolio.

  • Lead the strategic growth of the firm in your area of expertise, utilizing the founder's existing network and relationships as well as your own.

  • Manage a small team of executive search consultants, hand-picked from the top schools in the US.

Opportunity for candidate:

  • Financial opportunity: Base salary / draw in the region of $200-250k, additional pay out structure of 40-50%, and opportunity for large equity component to take ownership of the business, with strong performance.

  • Professional opportunity: Autonomy grow the business in any direction you see fit, with support from the founder to do so. Warm client book to be leveraged and absorbed upon the founders transition out of the business.

  • Lifestyle opportunity: Fully remote working, with a New York office readily available for use.

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience in the core markets of Private Equity portfolio search (industry agnostic), Financial Services or Professional Services.

  • Minimum 6+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong track record of success in running a full desk.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to excellent service on both and candidate and client side.

  • Desire to run and ultimately inherit a successful business (without the hassle of back-office and logistical tasks!).
