Bio

Rob White is Director of Tempting Talent, leading the business and actively engaging in business development and search work. He primarily works on building out the Talent functions at Private Equity and Venture Capital funds, as well as working on select engagements with Executive Search firms.

He graduated from Queen Mary, University of London, with a BA in Politics and Business Management, and started his career with a boutique search agency in London, focused on sales placements into AdTech and Media Owners. After 3 successful years he joined an agency focused in the PR market, building out a team of three. Rob’s focus on senior level engagements in the revenue function gave him a strong bedrock for placing Executive Search Partners.

Rob played competitive rugby for a number of years, which instilled a competitive nature and strong team leadership capabilities. Now retired from rugby, Rob primarily spends his time with his partner Emily and his two dogs, Angie and Hector, as well as staying active in the gym.

His focus at Tempting Talent is strategically growing the brand via business development, as well as training and motivating the team.

Charles’ works with Executive Search firms in the Energy, Industrials, and Financial Services placements. With a robust career spanning five years, Charles began his journey in Technology recruitment and soon moved to a Recruitment Process Outsourcing firm, where he honed his recruitment skills.

Charles' has conducted searches on behalf of his clients across the globe, placing professionals into businesses in The Middle East, Europe, and across North America. His expert knowledge within scaling start-ups has seen Charles help UK businesses with their trans-Atlantic missions, supporting them to expand in US markets and open offices in regions that are both talent hot spots and financially sound investments.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Charles is known for his unwavering passion for the Green Bay Packers and is an avid gymgoer with a propensity towards spending too much time on the bench press.

James is a Senior Consultant at Tempting Talent and leads our Technology Rec2Rec business, placing revenue generating senior and executive level contingent recruiters into Technology-focused recruitment firms.

He comes with previous experience in technical recruitment, as well as having worked in healthcare during the pandemic.

He has a master’s degree in organizational psychology, with a keen focus on talent and selection, psychometric assessment, building diverse organisations, Group Psychology, and Advanced Statistics.

This combined real-world and academic experience informs his consultative ability to add value to the clients he works with in the US staffing and recruitment spaces, as he looks to cement and expand our presence in the US.

James’ favourite book is Yuval Noah Harari’s Sapiens, and in his spare time loves to cook and Olympic Weightlifting Training.

Transitioning into civilian life, Sam found a new calling in staffing recruitment. With a keen eye for talent and a strategic mindset, he quickly established himself in the Professional and Financial Services sector. Through hard work and dedication, Sam steadily ascended the company ladder. Currently, he holds a managerial position, overseeing a dynamic team in his market. ​Jake is the latest addition to the Tempting Talent team, specializing in placing high-level professionals within the financial and professional services market. His journey started at Furman University in South Carolina, Greenville, where he balanced academics and athletics as a student-athlete in soccer. Jake graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

Jake's time at Furman has equipped him with the skills needed to navigate the fast-paced world of recruitment, fostering a robust work ethic and providing a solid foundation for understanding the U.S., where he lived for three and a half years.

Looking ahead, Jake's goal is to leverage the knowledge and skills gained outside of recruitment, coupled with the continuous learning within the industry, to successfully manage a team in the future.

Outside of work, Jake is passionate about playing and watching soccer!
